The Process
Optical Kitchen™ offers over 60 ready-to-wear frame styles in a variety of colors. If you find a frame you love in the perfect color—great! But if the color doesn’t match your vision, step into the Optical Kitchen™ and design your own.
Here’s how it works:
Choose Your Colors: Select from a wide spectrum of hues to craft your unique color palette. Whether you’re inspired by the ocean’s blues and greens or the vibrant shades of your garden, the possibilities are endless
2. Create Your Color Plate: Once your palette is ready, it’s time for the fun part—designing your color plate. Simply arrange your chosen colors in any pattern inside the Optical Kitchen™ mold. Your plate will be the foundation for cutting your custom frame. The only guideline is that your plate must weigh 125 grams—everything else is up to you.
3. Preview Your Design: Curious how your frame will look? Use our special masks to visualize your color arrangement on the frame. If something doesn’t look right, make adjustments until you’re satisfied with the design
4. Crafting the Final Frame: Once you finalize your design, our expert frame makers will press the mold and create your one-of-a-kind plate. We’ll send you a preview before cutting the frame.
Inspired by a client’s garden, we crafted a frame using shades of green, lavender, marigold, and white, adding a bit of clear to make the colors pop—think of it as a Monet-inspired creation!
